Construction Managers:

As Construction Managers we have overseen some remarkable projects for our clients. In most cases we managed a project because our client was required to build with another contractor for lease purposes and utilized the Goodman Team to insure their organization a quality project constructed on time. We successfully performed as the Owner’s representative, their eyes and ears and as the project’s quality control inspector

I might add that the term construction manager is a misnomer. The term construction manager is a modern term concocted to entail the values that we were taught that made up a responsible Master Builder. Somewhere over time architects and contractors took on adversarial positions in regard to responsibility and access to the Owner. No longer was the architect and builder one entity working on the client’s behalf. No longer was everyone working as a team to accomplish the project at hand. Therefore it is no wonder that an intermediary had to be created to take full responsibility for a project.

At Goodman Associates we handle both our design services as well as our construction services as that intermediary for the client, because we are Master Builders…advocates for our clients.
